Home Sellers FAQs

What are some of the criteria used to determine if a home is a good fit for MyHomeSource?

  • When we evaluate homes, we’re looking for homes that will be a good fit for our buyers – and that fit our business model. Some of the things we look for in homes include:
    • Family friendly
    • Good curb appeal
    • Practical and functional floorplan
    • Close to transportation and recreation
    • Good schools
    • Lack of negative factors such as road noise or industrial facilities nearby
    • Clean, well kept homes and yards nearby
    • Safe, with low crime rates
    • Good starter homes – affordable
  • In addition, we look at the condition of the homes, and evaluate what type of updating and repairs are required.
  • Finally, we need to be able to purchase homes at a price that will allow us to make necessary improvements, add on other costs and still be profitable. We’re also interested in purchasing a group of homes, as long as each home in the group is suitable.
